The Analytical Science Network (ASN) is a group specifically for early career analytical scientists, funded by the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund (ACTF) and managed by a group of volunteers.
Our key aim is to foster the careers of present and prospective analytical scientists and to promote analytical science to a wider community. We have members from both industry and academia who represent a diverse range of analytical disciplines.
Annually we hold a 3-day conference, Emerging Analytical Professionals (EAP), and a 1-day symposium (Bright Spark Symposium). Our last EAP 2023 was held at Bristol and BSS2023 was held at University of Liverpool. Visit the Bright Spark Symposium page for event highlights.
Our next 3-day conference, EAP 2024 will be held at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, Leeds. Registrations to open later this year.
The ASN is extremely grateful to the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund, without which our events would not be possible. Thank you to our regular sponsors, including the Analytical Scientist magazine, Waters, the Natural Environment research Council, the Royal Society of Chemistry, particularly the Separation Science Group (SSG) and the Electroanalytical Sensing Systems Group (EASSG) and the Analytical Methods Committee. MMS Conferencing assist us in running our annual conference, Emerging Analytical Professionals.
